Beginners: (4 – 9 year old)

We, at International Sports Union, have a well-planned program to help develop a positive attitude in all aspects of your child’s life. Our highly energetic classes are motivated by fun and exciting routines.

A variety of drills are used, each with a main purpose: gymnastics is taught to develop flexibility, acrobatics to develop balance and coordination, Warm-up routines are enforced to increase focus and listening skills. Your child will develop a highly positive mental attitude, stamina, and physical strength with this trio. Self-defense plays a key role in our classes. In our beginner classes, children will slowly learn the basic skills of self-defense that are needed for them to build a stronger knowledge of martial arts in the style of Goju-Riyu Karate.

Intermediate:(10-12)/Advanced: (13+ year old)

We, at International Sports Union, are dedicated to teaching our future generation the importance of respecting and taking proper care of the “self”, maintaining health and fitness, and keeping them off from the streets. Our program is designed and planned for the health and effectiveness of fitness education for your children. The program will allow your child to develop flexibility, coordination, discipline, balance, strength, and focus.

In addition to these necessary factors, your child will also tone his/her muscles proportionally and learn how to maintain a healthy and fit lifestyle. Self-esteem is all about how much people value themselves, the pride they feel in themselves, and how worthwhile they feel. Self-esteem is important because feeling good about yourself can affect how you act and the quality of life you live. Your children will boost their self-confidence and self-esteem, which in turn will allow them to be in control of undesirable situations.

Participating in competitions is a way of showing what you have learned and how much you have accomplished. We participate in numerous competitions throughout the year and motivate our students to try their best at all times. Sparring, kata forms, and traditional weapons trainings help your child with hand-eye coordination and focus.  Additionally, our main goal is to push our students into reaching the high expectations of competing in Summer Olympics Games.
